Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Voliature ("Detox30", "we", "us"), which runs the Detox30 app and this website. By creating an account or making a pledge, you agree to them. Please read them carefully: a pledge involves your money.
1. Who can use Detox30
You must be at least 18 years old and live in India, with an Indian mobile number. Detox30 currently works on Android phones only. One account per person.
2. What Detox30 is
Detox30 is a 30-day commitment service that helps you use chosen apps less. You choose one or more apps, a combined daily time limit, and an amount to pledge. The app measures how long you use those apps each day, using Android's usage access. It is not a game of chance, a wager or an investment: whether you get your pledge back depends only on your own phone use.
3. Your pledge and payment
- You can pledge any whole amount from ₹99 to ₹5,000.
- The pledge is charged once, in full, when you pay, through our payment partner Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking). We never see or store your card details or UPI PIN.
- Detox30 charges no fee, subscription or commission on a pledge.
4. The 30 days
- Your pledge starts the moment your payment is confirmed. Day 1 is the rest of that day (until midnight, Indian Standard Time); days 2 to 30 are whole calendar days after it.
- The apps you chose share one daily limit. Using them for exactly the limit is fine; going over it is a slip day.
- A day is also a slip day if you turn off Detox30's usage access or tracking that day, or if your phone does not send that day's usage to us within 7 days of the day ending.
- Each day counts at most once, and once a day is recorded as kept or slipped, it does not change.
- You can add more apps to a running pledge, but never remove any. An added app counts from the next day. Your limit, amount and dates never change.
- Changing your phone's clock or time zone has no effect; we use our server's time.
5. How a pledge ends
- Completed: if day 30 ends with two or fewer slip days, your pledge is complete and the full amount is refunded to the original payment method. See the refund policy for timing.
- Not completed: on your third slip day the pledge ends at once and is not refunded. The whole amount is donated to registered NGO partners chosen by Detox30. The only deduction is the payment gateway and bank charges, 2.36% of the pledge, which Detox30 does not keep. You can keep tracking for free for the rest of the 30 days.
- Once a pledge is completed or not completed, that result is final.
6. What we decide, and how
Days and results are decided by our server from the usage your phone reports, using the published rules above, the same way for everyone. Nothing is decided by hand, and no AI feature ever decides a day or your money. If you believe a day was recorded wrongly because of a fault in Detox30, write to us (see Contact) within 7 days; we will look into it and reply within 48 hours.
7. Your responsibilities
- Keep Detox30 installed, with usage access on, for the whole 30 days, and open it now and then so it can sync.
- Do not try to hide, alter or fake your usage, or interfere with the app or our servers.
- Keep your phone number and account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
8. Your account
You can delete your account from the app at any time once you have no pledge in progress. See the privacy policy for what we keep and why.
9. Limits of our responsibility
Detox30 is a self-help tool, not medical or psychological treatment. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any pledge is limited to the amount you pledged.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A pledge always follows the rules that applied when you made it. We will tell you in the app before new terms apply to a new pledge.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. Before going to court, please contact our grievance officer (see Contact); we acknowledge every grievance within 48 hours.
